A Little About Me

I’m a driven creative marketing professional with a foundation in journalistic writing and mass communication. Environmentalism and human rights advocacy are passions of mine and I work tirelessly to include both into my day-to-day work. With seven years of professional experience, I feel confident that I can guide creative visions from concept to completion while far exceeding client expectations.

Here are some of my professional skills:

  • Team & Project Management
  • Adobe Suite
  • Social Media Management
  • Content Creation
  • Art Direction
  • SEO Writing & Analytics
  • Microsoft Office
  • Budgeting & Strategic Planning

In my free time, I love baking, reading, hiking, trying new restaurants and spending time with my two dogs and lovely husband.

Our dogs, Norrie and Tucker.
(To be clear, this Photoshop job was done by the vet’s office, not me!)

If you want to know a little more about how I came to be… me, take a peek at the brief timeline below.

  • Early 1990s: Born with a lot to say and a passion to write it all down. Started journalling at five years old. My poor mother…

  • 2011: Followed this life-long passion for writing to one of the best journalism schools in the nation, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

  • 2015: Graduated from the Cronkite School and dove head-first into marketing, where I found the ability to combine my creative side, attention to detail and passion for quality storytelling.

  • 2015: Landed my first post-graduation job with Life Aspire, a Facebook publishing company.

  • 2016: With flexibility to work remotely, my future husband, two dogs and I moved from Arizona to New Jersey. A big change for a woman from the desert!

  • 2016: Start dipping my toe into the freelance pool. Quickly dove in with projects for companies like Aardvark Brigade and American Express.

  • 2019: Joined Momentum Solar as Social Media Manager. Loved the energy, atmosphere and opportunity!

  • 2019: Promoted to Marketing Manager at Momentum Solar.

  • 2019: Husband was also promoted and off we went to Boston, Massachusetts. I had never seen so many Boston Terriers and Dunkin Donuts.

  • 2021: After two years of proving I could successfully manage a team and further the company’s creative vision tactfully, I was promoted to Creative Marketing Director. An honor!

  • 2022: Lookout! We’re on the move again. This time to the metro Washington DC area.
